Zeiss Victory 7x42 FL
Zeiss Victory 7x42 FL are binoculars for people who do not wish to compromise when it comes to optical performance and field use. The state-of-the-art Victory FL binoculars use fluoride glass through which the optimal gloss and colour is displayed ensuring an authentic image display. Furthermore, these binoculars have a maximum light transmission so that even at twilight great observations can take place.

Clearly the cutting edge
Victory FL binoculars offer maximum brightness, contrast, resolution and colour fidelity. In addition, they offer a light transmission of over 90%, optimum edge-to-edge sharpness, minimal chromatic aberration and a broad field of vision in wide angle eyepieces. This telescope is equipped with the LotuTec innovative coating, which means that the lenses are coated with fluoride (FL) which increases colour trueness and light transmission dramatically.
Colour distortion is a thing of the past
Lutotec protection: water slides off the lens
The low weight and visual ease of use and exceptional treatment, in addition to the best optical image quality in its class, make the Zeiss Victory 7x42 FL unbeatable.
LotuTec Protective layer for a crystal-clear image
LotuTec is an effective protective coating for eyepiece and objective lenses - and this results in a sharper display. The coating reduces fouling of the lens with its strong repellant power. The principle of nature and specifically the Lotus flower was the catalyst of this invention. The Lotus flower has a water wicking property and keeps dirt out. Zeiss specialists were able to apply this principle
to the lenses of binoculars. When a drop of water reaches the coated glass something remarkable happens: The drop of water has a smaller contact surface, so it forms a ball and slips off the glass without trace. In addition, oil smudges and fingerprints can be removed much faster and easier than before. The LotuTec coating makes cleaning and caring for the lenses very easy. In addition, the LotuTec coating is resistant, wear-proof and a tool in reducing scratches.
Fluoride glass: brighter, sharper and more colourful images
You'll find the letters "FL" back in the name of the binoculars. What does this mean? This revolutionary system of Zeiss stands for Fluoride glass, which means brighter, sharper and more vivid image display. This ensures that even at twilight you are well able to view and distinguish details. Zeiss has ensured that the chromatic aberrations are minimised and you do not find this in ordinary FL concepts; all light scatter, image fuzziness and low contrast belong to the past. The following picture/diagram shows the performance of a telescope with and without fluoride glass
