Zeiss Diascope 85 T* FL straight (green) can best be described as detailed: it offers excellent contrast and high imaging capacity and these features truly define the Zeiss diascope. Zeiss spotting scopes are impressive in every respect. They combine a first class optical system with a very robust design and strong mechanics.

A class in itself: water and dustproof and filled with nitrogen gas
Zeiss diascopes are of course water and dustproof. They are filled with nitrogen and have a retractable sun shield that keeps away annoying stray light. The 65mm Diascope is more compact and in fact a smaller version of the Zeiss 85mm Diascope. The 65mm lens has a smaller lens and thus has a slightly lower light transmission than the 85mm scopes. The Zeiss 65mm Diascope is lightweight and has a short body that is ideal for the mountains and travelling, but of course, also very useful for everyday use

Three different eyepieces for diascope.The diascope is supplied without eyepieces. You can choose from three different eyepieces:

• Vario eyepiece with a magnification of 15-56x (Diascope 65) and 20-75x (Diascope 85)
• Vario eyepiece with a magnification of 15-45x (Diascope 65) and 20-60x (Diascope 85)
• Fixed eyepiece with a magnification of 30x (Diascope 65) and 40x (scope slides 85)

All these eyepieces are fitted with a bayonet lock and comfortable eyecups which make them very suitable for eyeglass wearers

Shoot pictures with your Zeiss Diascope: this is called digiscopingWhat birder, hunter or observer has never thought: "I wish I had a camera to take a photo or video of what I see right now!" This is possible with this diascope. The magic of digiscoping is that you can make good, sharp and frame filling pictures of birds and wildlife with a minimum additional investment. With minimum extra weight and equipment, and from relatively long distances, you can take pictures of wildlife and birds without infringing on their lives. Zeiss diascopes are excellent digiscoping tools. They offer images that are virtually impossible to obtain with other diascopes. The exceptional colour correction (due to the FL coated glass) ensures crystal clear, intensely colourful images. The spotting scopes are relatively light in weight so adding a camera and an adapter still enables you to carry the entire arrangement easily into the field.

1. Zeiss photo adapter:shootWITHOUT ZEISS eyepieceandWITHOUT Camera objective(shooting in primary focus)
This Camera Adapter is compatible with virtually all digital SLR cameras. You take pictures without the lens of your camera and without using the eyepiece of the Zeiss Spotting Scope. In this set-up the Zeiss spotting scope works as a telephoto lens (up to F = 1000 / f/12). You will need the following to work with this set-up:

• T2 ring for your digital SLR camera (we have almost all current T2 rings in our catalogue)

2. Zeiss Quick Camera Adapter IIcapable to shootWITH ZEISS eyepieceandWITH ordinary compact camera / video camera

This camera adapter fits virtually all compact cameras (or cameras where the lens cannot be removed). You take pictures through the eyepiece of the Zeiss Spotting Scope along with your digital camera. In addition, the Quick Camera Adapter is very stable so it can also be used for video cameras. Thus you can record a video through the Zeiss Diascope. Advantages:
