Yukon Sentinel 2.5x50 The Yukon Sentinel 2.5x50 is from Yukon, a manufacturer that guarantees a perfect combination of design, ergonomics, reliability and ease of use. The advantage of the Sentinel over traditional Yukon products is the greater functionality and high degree of water resistance. The viewer itself is well-protected and can be used for weapons with various calibres (.300, .308 or similar). The batteries (2x AA) are safely stored vertically in the battery compartment so that the possible influence of recoil on the battery life is minimised.
Different versions of the Yukon Sentinel The Yukon Sentinel is available in three versions:
Yukon Sentinel 2.5x50
Yukon Sentinel 3x60
Yukon Sentinel 4x60 Gen 2+
Greater functionality: 2 scales
In terms of functionality, this product includes two scales, one horizontal and one vertical scale. The horizontal scale is used to measure distance to the object, whereas the vertical one is used to set your residual light amplifier for shooting at different distances. You can adjust this for shooting at distances of 15, 25, 50 and 100m. It is advisable to change the reticule colour every now and then so that it suits the environment. Red is best used when there are clear and bright viewing conditions. Green is best used when there are obstacles in the viewing direction. You can do this at the touch of a button.
High degree of water resistance Regarding the high degree of water resistance: this product offers you a IPX4 rank (according to IEC 60529) and can be used in torrential rains. The additional tube provides protection from axial load when used with most popular calibres, including .300, .308 (or similar).
Internal focus system: Focusing from 2m The Sentinel can be focused from 2m to infinity. Set the focus knob at 100 metres and the Sentinel is ready for all distances (including very close by).
Battery Indicator The Sentinel is equipped with an LED battery indicator. When the green lamp lights up, the battery is completely full; during use of the night vision, the battery slowly turns from green to red. If the red light starts burning you still have about half an hour to use the night vision before the battery completely runs out.
Remote control The remote control that comes with the Sentinel makes it easy turn the Sentinel on and off and there is no need to touch the gun or night vision. This is ideal you are not continuously observing but just quickly want to search for a location, aim and shoot.
Stabilised Power Supply The Sentinel is equipped with a so-called 'stabilised power supply ", meaning that even if the battery is low the night vision is still as bright as when the battery is completely full.
Built-in infrared beam With the built-in infrared ray the Sentinel can even be used when it is completely dark outside. The amount of infrared can be adjusted from narrow to very wide.
Extra 'Weaver' rail for accessories With the extra weaver rail extra accessories can easily be attached such as an optional IR beam, microphone and laser pointer.
Mounting Options The Sentinel can be placed on five different mounts: Weaver mount (Weaver-auto, Weaver long), AK Side, "Los" mount (for Russian rifles), Prism 14/200 mounts
