The Vixen New Apex 8x24 DCF binoculars are true all-rounders. Compact and uncomplicated, these binoculars can be used in many situations, from the theatre to the short track course. The lenses are fully multi-coated so they offer a sharp and clear picture even in dim light or in a dark theatre. The New Apex models are filled with nitrogen gas and are thus fully waterproof. The eyepieces contain twist-up eyecups preventing the ends of the eyepiece from tapping against glasses. With an 8x zoom and 24mm lens diameter, this is an extremely compact all-round performer!

Aluminium Body
To protect the optics, the viewer is made from a single aluminum housing with the 'Die-Cast" method. During this process, molten metal, in this case aluminium, is injected in a mold under high pressure. After the coagulation process a solid and uniform body remains. The inside of the viewer is filled with nitrogen gas so that the viewer is completely waterproof. The exterior of the viewer is covered with a rubber coating for optimum grip and shock absorption.
