The Vixen Geoma II ED Spotting Scopes are identical to the standard Vixen Geoma II spotting scopes as far as specs are concerned. However, the Vixen Geoma ED II spotting scopes feature an extra low dispersion lens. This technique ensures that the incoming light is centred to the eyepiece with extra precision. So, with this viewer you will not suffer loss of light or colour, and this makes the quality of the picture sublime. This is unprecedented image quality for a scope in this price range. Besides the extra low dispersion technique, the lens also features a full multi-coating. The Vixen Geoma II ED 82 spotting scope is available in two different models.

• Model 1: straight view spotting scope (Geoma II ED 82S)

Comfortable
The spotting scope is very comfortable for the eye thanks to the rotating eyecups and its eye relief of 19mm. So you don't have to press your eye against the eyecup for a good view. Needless to say, this makes the spotting scope very suitable for eyeglass wearers as well. The scope weighs just over 1kg and is easy to take with you on location.

Features
The Geoma II ED 82 is the big brother of the Vixen Geoma II ED 67The differences in structure and construction between these two spotting scopes are only small. The big difference is mainly the size of the spotting scope: the Geoma II ED 82 has a lens diameter of 82mm and a focal length of 514mm. The Geoma II ED 67 has a lens diameter of 67mm and a focal length of 386mm. The spotting scope is also equipped with image stabilisation, so even at high magnifications the image will remain stable.

Eyepieces
