Aluminium housing
The housing of the viewer is made in a special way called Die-Cast method. During this process, molten metal, in this case aluminium, is injected under very high pressure into an mold. After the coagulation process there remains a solid and uniform body. The inside of the viewer is filled with nitrogen gas so that the viewer is completely waterproof. The exterior of the telescope is covered with a rubber coating for optimum grip and absorbing shocks.
