Steiner Ranger Pro 8x56
The new Steiner Ranger Pro 8x56 is indestructible, easy to use and equipped with high quality optics. The Ranger Pro series contains professional hunting binoculars which belong to the global top of its class. They feature high quality optics and coatings and are suitable for many purposes.
Whether you wear glasses or not: it doesn't matter
The Ranger Pro series features twist up eyecups.
Steiner has created the ClicLoc system of ergonomic, silicone eyecups that can be put in three positions:
Hot or cold: suitable for temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees
The nitrogen filling of the binoculars ensures that no internal condensation occurs with temperature changes. Now nitrogen filling is not very new and is often used in binoculars. However, Steiner have introduced the so-called 'two-way valve' technology, so that even with large variations of pressure (think of taking your binoculars on a flight, or for high climbs) the viewer still remains waterproof.
Light or darkness: Ranger Pro Series is available from 32 to 56mm
The Ranger Pro is available with different lens diameters (the front part of the binoculars). The larger the lens diameter the more light can enter into the viewer and the brighter the image. On the other end, unfortunately, the larger the objective lens, the heavier the binoculars. Binoculars with a 56mm objective lens are ideal for hunting, while a 32mm is an ideal companion for travelling.
High Contrast Optics and Phase Coatings: perfect colour display
The Ranger Pro Series is equipped with 'high contrast optics', which results in a high contrast image. This is very important when you want to distinguish different animals, or just want to have a good distance estimate. In addition, the colours are more vivid, which also contributes to a pleasant observation. The glass is made of environmentally friendly materials without heavy metals. The glass is coated with a so-called 'phase coating', the best coating on the market. The use of this coating increases the light gain, which gives a brighter image. With the large central focus the binoculars are focused with ease and accuracy.
Heavy Duty casing made of fibre glass
The viewer is very robust and can endure intensive use! The housing consists of a newly developed polycarbonate reinforced glass fibre and features a NBR rubber armouring. This makes these viewers extremely impact resistant and soundproof (for wildlife observation).
Extreme robustness: shock and weather resistant
Because these binoculars are made of Makrolon and have a compact design, this viewer is very robust and handy. The extremely robust housing and a special lens coating ensure that the Steiner binoculars are all shock and dust resistant. The viewer is further designed with an anti-skid armouring, so it fits comfortably in your hand. It is also resistant to salt water, corrosion, UV rays, acids and oils.
Accessories for the Ranger Pro 8x56:
All Steiner binoculars are equipped with a storage bag. For each type of Steiner binoculars a special bag has been designed to be comfortably worn over the shoulder. The bag is made of very hard, moisture and dirt resistant material. The standard equipment for all Steiner binoculars includes a rain cover, lens cap, carrying strap. The carrying strap consists of several individually adjustable straps. Furthermore, these straps are robust, waterproof and dirt resistant.
