The Nighthunter has a sporty design and offers excellent comfort for the user. It ensures ease of viewing in many different circumstances. The optics ensure a clear and very detailed image. This makes it the ideal companion for hunting. The binoculars in the Nighthunter series are available in the following models:
Fast-Close-Focus: Focus from 2 m
The Steiner Fast-Close-Focus System enables you to observe your surroundings in great detail from 2m. This has great advantages for observing birds, butterflies and insects. These binoculars are even easy to focus when wearing gloves. The use of special sealing techniques ensures that the binoculars are well-protected against the ingress of moisture, dirt and dust, even in bad weather.
Twist up eyecups: very suitable for eyeglass wearers
The ergonomic eyecups prevent lateral light penetration, offer maximum comfort and can also be folded down for the spectacle wearers among us.
High definition optics
The High Definition Optics developed by Steiner provide crystal-clear images in all weather conditions. This technical ingenuity guarantees sharp contours, even in low light conditions. The lenses of the Nighthunter are coated with a phase coating (best coating on the market) which provides extreme resolution and light brightness. In addition, the lenses at the front are also coated with silicone to make them scratch-resistant.
Waterproof to 5m deep
Filled with nitrogen and special patented 'two-way valves', the Steiner Nighthunter 8x44 XP binoculars are perfectly protected against the ingress of moisture to a depth of 5m. The gas filling ensures that the internal pressure of the binoculars always exceeds the outside pressure. Any changes in temperature will thus not affect the performance of these binoculars (at temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees). This keeps these binoculars ready for decades of use.
Steiner Nano-Protection: rain, snow and moisture have no chance
The paper-thin Nano coating Steiner put on the lenses, provides protection against water and dust ensuring it will give peak performance under the most extreme weather conditions.
Extreme robustness: shock and dust resistant
At Steiner binoculars meet high demands and due to their extreme robustness, they are almost indestructible. The use of Makrolon and the compact design and the light weight of the binoculars result in extreme robustness. The extremely robust housing and a special lens coating ensure that the Steiner binoculars are all shock and dust resistant. The unique design ensures that even after decades Steiner binoculars still guarantee the best optical performance. The design has a non-skid grip that works perfectly in all weather conditions. In addition, the binoculars are resistant to salt water, corrosion, UV rays, acids and oils.
Prism System
The integrated floating Steiner prism system provides absolute shock resistance, ensures good stability and a lifetime reliability.
