Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 without compass
Hold the Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 without compass in your hands and you experience more than just binoculars; you meet technical precision in top form. The binoculars in this series are an amalgam of cutting edge technologies such as the Nano-protection on the lenses, the ClicLoc eyecup system and the NBR rubber armouring. The viewer is waterproof up to 5m and has excellent high definition XP optics combining titanium, fluorite and other minerals.
Autofocus: focus from 20m to infinity
The special Steiner Sports Auto-Focus is very easy to use and offers a continuously sharp image. These binoculars also have a manual dioptre adjustment and soft, foldable eyecups which make them suitable for eyeglass wearers. The image that this viewer delivers is sharp from 20m to infinity.
OptionalHD-stabilised compass
The integrated HD stabilized compass gives you more security on board: If the GPS or even the logs do not work anymore, it is still possible to find your way with the integrated compass.
The compass of the Commander Pro differs from that of the Navigator 7x50 and Commander XP 7x50 because the compass of the XP is mounted on a bed of silicone so even with extreme waves there is no way the compass will leak under any circumstances. The compass of the Pro Series is fitted normally and is not filled with silicone.
Waterproof to 5m deep
The binoculars are filled with nitrogen which prevents condensation on the lenses, even when the temperature changes from -40°C to 80°C. These binoculars are perfectly protected against the ingress of moisture, dirt and dust to a depth of 5m.
The waterproof capacity of the commander Pro differs from that of the Navigator 7x50 and Commander XP 7x50: the XP is waterproof up to 10m, the Pro up to 5m and the Navigator up to 2m.
Eyecups that are removable: also great for eyeglass wearers
The soft cups add to the comfort for eyeglass wearers. The Steiner Memory eyepiece makes it easy to store your personal dioptre preferences. As one rotates the eyepiece, the user's settings on the binoculars are easily found back. This is useful when you start using binoculars at dusk or if more people are using the same binoculars.
Extremely robust
Because the Steiner Commander Pro 7x50 binoculars are made of Makrolon and have a compact design, this viewer is very robust. The extremely robust housing and a special lens coating ensure that the Steiner binoculars are all shock and dust resistant. Furthermore, the viewer is designed with an anti-skid armouring, so it fits comfortably in your hand. It is also resistant to salt water, corrosion, UV rays, acids and oils.
Floating Prism System
The integrated floating Steiner prism system provides absolute shock resistance and ensures good stability and a lifetime reliability
Example: if the telescope falls on the deck the prism will absorb the shock well and the Commander Pro will remain intact.
Includes storage bag and belt: The PRO version comes in a luxury wooden box, perfect gift!
