Additional information
The 100mm opening produces -partly through high quality BaK-4 fully multi-coated glass- a clear and accurate image, even in areas with poor lighting or weather conditions. The eyepiece is at an angle of 45 degrees so you do not have to perform weird bends to spot and follow that special falcon or wild goose. The housing is made of metal and therefore it can take a beating.

ED glass
Unlike the standard version, the lenses of this model are provided with ED glass material, which breaks the light colours at different angles so they all converge at the same point (see picture). This colour-correcting front lens yields a sharper, brighter and more natural image than the standard BaK-4 glass material version. This difference in image quality is more visible at higher magnification.
