Meopta S1-75
The Meopta S1-75 is completely waterproof because it is filled with nitrogen gas. With a 75mm lens this spotting scope yields a very clear and bright image and is particularly suitable for serious birders or hunters. The Meopta S1-75 is a viewer from the renowned house of Meopta and is the successor of the HA/GS-75. The Meopta S1-75 differs from the HA/GS-75 as follows:
30x or 20 to 60x magnification
This Meopta spotting scope is delivered without an eyepiece; you need to purchase this separately. There are two options:

Available in two versions
The Meopta S1 75 is available without apochromatic lenses made of fluorite glass and with APO.
What difference does APO make?
Apochromatic lenses of fluorite glass ensure maximum light transmission, and, thus, a clearer image. Details are even more visible and yield an even sharper picture, something ordinary glass is not able to offer. One feature of fluorite is that it keeps dispersion incredibly low, so vague colours are fully eliminated. With fluorite glass, light transmission is 99%; the following diagram makes this clear.
Meopta calls this "APO", Kowa "Prominar, Zeiss, Swarovski, Leica and others call it HD, FL or ED glass. At the end of the day, these terms all refer to the same concept.
