Top optics
The 8x magnification is perfect for bird-watching or for all-round use. In combination with a 42mm aperture this still ensures a high light output. The light transparency of the optics is no less than 90% because a so-called 'XTR' technology is used in combination with with fully multi-coated optics. The glass is made in BAK-4 (as opposed to the lesser BK-7) which also contributes to a high light output

Waterproof
The viewer is waterproof and filled with nitrogen to prevent condensation. This elite series also features the so-called "Rain Guard"; this is a patented system of Bushnell and makes these binoculars suitable for all types of weather. The sleek, ultra-light design makes the viewer easy to carry with you. The housing is made of magnesium and coated with a scratch-resistant powder.
