Attach the ATN PS22-2I conversion lens to your regular rifle scope and you have a rifle scope with Night Vision. The whole is designed in such a way that you do not need to make adjustments to your rifle scope. This means that the eye relief and magnification remain the same, so you have the same image but now at night. In complete darkness you can attach the included infrared projector giving you visibility even in total darkness. The night viewer comes with three adapter rings enabling the device to be attached to rifle scopes with different lens diameters (from 25 to 62mm). In less than 30 seconds, your rifle scope can be transformed into a night rifle scope with properties that exceed the current military standard.

Accessories
The ATN PS22-2I viewer includes a wide range of accessories such as the aforementioned adapter rings. In addition to the usual protective and transportation accessories, it also comes with a remote control with which you can digitally set up the viewer. Two coupling pieces are included, one for a 7/8" Weaver rail and one for a Picatinny rail. In order to have vision in complete darkness, you can use the infrared beamer.

Gen 2I
Second Generation night vision. In a night rifle scope the image amplifying tube is the metaphorical beating heart and this is also true for the ATN PS22-2I. The difference between a first and a second generation unit is mainly the addition of a micro-channel plate, or MCP. The MCP works as an electron amplifier and is placed directly behind the photocathode. A photocathode is a negatively charged electrode in a night vision and has a photosensitive coating. From the moment light strikes it, the absorbed energy generates an emission of electrons. This process is caused by a photoelectric effect. Simply put, the MCP gives the electrons an extra push so that the second generation night vision provides a brighter and sharper image.
