Attach the ATN PS11-CGTI night viewer to your regular rifle scope and you have a rifle scope with Night-Vision! The whole is designed in such a way that you do not need to make adjustments to your original rifle scope. This means that the eye relief and magnification remain the same, so you have the same image but now at night! In complete darkness you can attach the included infrared projector, giving you visibility even in total darkness. The ATN PS11-CGTI night viewer comes with three adapter rings enabling the device to be attached to rifle scopes with different lens diameters (from 25 to 62mm). In less than 30 seconds, your rifle scope can be transformed into a night rifle scope with properties that exceed the current military standard.

Gen CTGI
In a night vision the image amplification tube is the beating heart and this also applies to the ATN PS22-CGTI. The difference between a Gen 2 + and a Gen CTGI unit lies in the the type of micro-channel plate (MCP) that is used. The MCP works as an electron amplifier and is placed directly behind the photocathode. A photocathode is a negatively charged electrode in a night vision and has a photosensitive coating. From the moment light strikes it, the absorbed energy generates an emission of electrons. This process is caused by a photoelectric effect. Simply put, the MCP gives the electrons an extra push so that the second generation night vision provide a brighter and sharper image. Generation CTGI is a refinement of the Gen 2+ and uses compact 18mm Multi-Alkali MCP Image Intensifier. This improvement has resulted in an exceptionally clear and bright picture.

Accessories
The ATN PS11-CGTI viewer includes a wide range of accessories such as the aforementioned adapter rings. The viewer comes with the usual protective and transportation accessories as well as with a remote control with which you can digitally set up the viewer. Two coupling pieces come standard with the viewer, one for a 7/8" Weaver rail and one for a Picatinny rail. For vision in complete darkness, you can use the infrared beamer.
