The ATN OTS-10 Colour is the global standard for small thermal imaging viewers. The viewer weighs a mere 340g and is therefore incredibly lightweight. Due to its hard-shell housing, the ATN OTS-10 Colour is very strong; this is, of course, necessary as the viewer is meant to be easy to carry to any location. The ATN OTS-10 viewer is strongly recommended when working in construction or heavy industry. This is because the viewer makes it easy to monitor heat differences, enabling you to easily detect any problems. It should be clear that the ATN OTS10 Colour creates a safer workplace.

What is thermal imaging?
With thermal imaging (thermography), it is possible to map temperature and temperature differences. To achieve this, two techniques are combined, namely infrared technique and wavelength detection technique. By using these techniques, the thermal view is displayed. The supplied image is sometimes also called a thermogram; it is a visual representation of the currently prevailing temperatures. In general, a colour scale is shown where a dark colour denotes a cold temperature and a lighter colour denotes a warmer temperature.

Applications
Thermal imaging viewers are often used in the security sector, in military applications, for fire prevention but also for medical purposes, such as breast cancer and pregnancy determination. It is a technique which is applied in many ways but it is especially instrumental in safeguarding public safety.

Technical features
The thermal imaging viewer has a number of features which facilitate the use of the scope. The ATN OTS10 Colour starts up within three seconds and uses two CR123A batteries. One set of batteries makes sure the viewer lasts for about four hours. The thermal images of the viewer are shown in full colour; this way, a crystal-clear picture is obtained.

Video
The viewer is provided with an analogue video output. With this output you can connect the ATN OTS10 Colour to a television set or other monitor with the help of the PAL/NTSC connector. Thus, the viewer can also be used as a permanent security camera. The cables for connection to the monitor are included in the kit.
