ATN Night Spirit
The ATN Night Spirit series is waterproof and has a 3x magnification. The lenses of the viewer are interchangeable so you can easily select your preferred magnification. The optics are of exceptional quality: ATN uses the best quality glass for its front lenses, consisting of at least six elements. All optics are multilayer-coated and ensure maximum light output. The Night Spirit sets the brightness automatically, and if there is plenty of light, this will be reduced. The ATN Night Spirit is available in three models:

• Night Spirit Generation 2+ with resolution 40-45 lp/mm
• Night Spirit Generation 2 + with resolution 40-50 lp/mm
• Night Spirit Generation CGT with resolution 45-54 lp/mm

Electron Tube
The main element of night vision viewers is the Image Intensifier Tube (electron tube). The available light is collected and amplified through an electronic and physical process in this electron tube. ATN build their own power supply for the tubes. The materials used for the tube meet the highest criteria. The ATN night viewers perform under virtually all weather conditions.

Infrared light
An additional feature of this night vision is the infrared light or beam; if you enter a completely dark room where there is absolutely no ambient light, you can enable this built-in beamer. The beam illuminates the room with IR light, the night vision catches this back and puts it into an image. The Night Spirit has a built-in IR indicator.

Design
The Night Spirit easily fits in your hand and has a tough but attractive design. Because of its light weight and compact design, it takes no effort to hold the viewer for a longer period of time.

Accessories:

• The (optional) Camera Adapter allows the residual light amplifier to be connected to your digital camera and you can even shoot in the dark.
  
  
• This IR-450 B7 can be easily mounted onto the night vision goggles. Your vision will thus be two to three times better in total darkness.
  
  
• The Scope Adapter is a connecting piece between your night vision goggles and rifle scope.
• Lens with 5x magnification
• The Goggle Kit lets you operate the night vision hands-free.
  
  
• The rifle adapter is mounted onto an M16 or M4, after which your night vision goggles slide on top of it.
  
  

Technology
ATN are one of the largest manufacturers of night vision goggles in the world and offer a wide range of goggles, monoculars, binoculars and rifle scopes. With their unique light amplifiers and infrared technology, ATN have brought three generations of night vision goggles on the market, and each generation uses a unique type of image intensifier tube:

• The first generationis currently the most popular type. It reinforces the incoming light a few thousand times so you can observe clearly in the dark. These viewers yield a clear and sharp image at an affordable price.
  
• The second generationis more often used for professional purposes. The big difference with the first generation is the addition of a micro-channel plate (MPC) which serves as an electron amplifier, and this results in a brighter image. However, the price of these night vision goggles is also many times higher than that of the first generation.
  
• The CGT Generationis even more advanced than the second generation tubes. These tubes are more sensitive and have a higher resolution. These features deliver an exceptionally sharp image with truly exceptional clarity.
  
• The third generationThese night-vision goggles uniquely combine an extra light sensitive layer of gallium arsenide with a layer that blocks ions, considerably increasing the lifetime of the image intensifier tube.
